In the first 24 hours after implant surgery, apply a cold compress to the cheek to reduce swelling, and avoid vigorous rinsing or spitting, which can dislodge the blood clot at the surgical site.

From day 2 onward, gently rinse with warm salt water or an antiseptic solution as directed. Eat soft, cool foods for the first few days and avoid chewing directly on the implant site.

Keeping to your follow-up schedule is essential so your dentist can monitor bone integration and confirm the implant is stable before attaching the final crown.
